Mud, Glorious Mud

It’s funny how life evolves. Pre kids and dogs, this season was all about clothes and parties. Now? Welly boots and where to house them are much more our scene. Here we shine a spotlight on a favourite boot room designed by Johnston Park Interiors, and a few other wallpapers we feel would suit this treasure of a space.

Country Chic

From the stone floor and crittall windows to the carpentry and storage, there’s a lot to love about this room created by Fiona and her team at Johnson Parke Interiors.  The unexpected pairing of Farrow & Ball ‘Pigeon’ paintwork with our pink Pheasant wallpaper works particularly well, with the faux antler chandelier completing the country chic vibe. Top Tip

Worried about wallpapering a high traffic area?

We recommend Polyvine Decorator’s Varnish. This can be applied to the wall once the paper is up, and adds an extra layer of durability against muddy hands and waggy tails (NB. it’s essential to use the DEAD FLAT finish so as not to affect the look of the wallpaper, and we always recommend trialing a test piece first!)

Below, a few other designs you might consider for a boot room…
